Wow. Time really flies.

It's been more than a month since my friends moved to Alabama...taking their lovely daughter (my model! grrr...) with them.

I sure do miss them. And I'm hoping maybe I'll get a call this summer or next Spring to do some senior pictures? Maybe? (hint)

like mother, like daughter

Yesterday, I was blessed with the opportunity to take senior portraits of a beautiful young lady. I hadn't seen this girl since she was probably 10 or so, but I work in the school system with her mother and see her once or twice a week, usually. I also went to high school with her mom, although she was a couple of years behind me. Anyway - I don't know if I've ever seen a daughter resemble her mother as much as this one does. The only difference I can see is that her mom has always been brunette, while she's always been blonde. Other than that, wow, the resemblence is amazing. I wish I had a photo of her mom to post, just to show it.

We had a wonderful time and the weather was just perfect. I was super happy with the results - here are the first 4 I edited.

I just love taking pics of little girls. They feel pretty, and usually are the sweetest things. And if they have some 'feisty' about them, that's fun too
