I don't like photographing weddings. It's just not my cuppa.

I'm not high stress or high energy, lol.

But I do love the detail shots.

I'd do those for hours and lose track of time.

Hubby did listen to me, this year, about what I wanted for Christmas.

This lens is so much fun - all the following photos were taken with no flash...some are a bit noisy due to the high ISO but that's what happens when you live in a dark house, haha.

And at the time I got it, it was running about $80. Not L glass, for sure, but still, right now it's my favorite lens.

The ones on the porch were taken in full afternoon sun - something I don't have a lot of experience with. I was pretty pleased with the way they turned out.
